This blog started in January 2010, with no real goal or reason. I just needed a space to blather on and convince myself that being healthy is coooool. It is, just for the record.
You know what else is cool? Running, biking, and swimming. (Tri-nerds, I know that isn’t the proper triathlon order, but I started with what I like the most, so don’t get your bike shorts in a twist). I just so happen to enjoy doing all three of those activities! Yay, I think I qualify for a coolness badge, or something.
So what, I like to run, bike and swim, who cares? The people on the internet seem to care, sometimes. Most importantly, I care. I put my heart into training for marathons and triathlons. There are bumps in the road, bird attacks, flat tires, aching limbs, leaky water bottles, blisters…
But there are great things that come with training too. You’ll just have to follow along for when they happen.
