This is that post, the calm before the storm, the last one before race day.
I think.
Who knows, maybe–PROBABLY on Saturday I’ll have 10,000 more things to say. As for right now, I feel happy.
I’m happy that I’m here, in this moment, ready to face the day that I’ve been blabbering about since September 2012 when I registered for Ironman Wisconsin.
Happy that my body tolerated the training, high mileage, and huge hills.
Happy that I have such a great support system–YOU GUYS, thank you.
Happy that I married my perfect match who has been beyond supportive with my training, mentally and physically.
Happy to have met so many great people along the way.
Happy to have developed closer friendships.
Happy to have carbo-loaded.
Happy to have tapered.
Just, happy.
Yay! So excited, proud and HAPPY for you!
I am so excited for you! It’s been great to watch all your training and I’ll be thinking of you this weekend. Have fun!
Sorry for having been out of touch. I saw the IM notice on the UW homepage and thought, gee, haven’t checked in for a while. Pretty cool to follow all of your summer training in minutes. Made me gasp. You really did great, and no injuries! So now comes the day. Stay healthy and have a great race!
YAYYY!! GOOD LUCK! You’ll do great…and remember…ENJOY IT.
I’m so excited for you! I hope you have a great day and I will be cheering from afar. Sad to not be in Madison that day.
Have fun!
I’m so excited for you!!!!! Go have a blast! And make sure to wave to the video feed at the finish line! Teller, Penny & I will be watching for you.
Game on.
Remember this post….Take in every single minute because you’ll never get it back. You only get to experience the 1st one, first….
Looking forward to hearing how it all shakes out, but I believe it’s gonna be a damn fine day indeed!! 🙂
Have a great race!!!!
I’m getting lost in the live coverage right now…you are amazing! I am so excited for you! And I sincerely hope you are enjoying every second, at least as much as possible… 🙂
